Southern Current is a developer, EPC contractor, O&M service provider, and owner of large scale solar energy facilities with development assets across the Southeastern United States. Our in-house team of development professionals take projects from site selection and origination through construction and COD. Our team has developed over 550 MW of operating assets with an additional 300 MW of projects scheduled to be commissioned by the end of 2019. Our team has 3,000 MW more of projects in the early to mid-stage development pipeline (2020 – 2022 estimated commissioning).

We guide projects through the interconnection study process and perform the tax, zoning, survey, and environmental mitigation requirements for pre-closing.

Notice to Proceed

Our team finalizes all the necessary documents for a projects financial closing and negotiates and executes a PPA for the project.
