Don’t Miss This Total Solar Eclipse Party In North Charleston

Residents of the North Charleston area are invited to a FREE solar eclipse viewing and party on Monday, August 21st organized by The Post and Courier. For the first time in 38 years, a total solar eclipse will be visible across the continental United States. A solar eclipse occurs when the moon moves between the sun and the Earth, but this year’s event is extra-special thanks to a rare alignment which will cast total darkness over parts of South Carolina including Charleston and Columbia.

This free eclipse viewing event offers fun for the whole family, including interactive activities that encourage higher level thinking for children, live entertainment from Grammy Award Winner Secret Agent 23 Skidoo, 3D displays, paper airplane building projects and more!
